Starlust the bestest sim eva!! Apparently we had x-mas in august and the vendors gave out gifts to one another. Like a potluck without the food. I wanted to blog some of the goodies even though the general public cant get some of the items shown. But, doesn't mean you slackers cant get other goodies from the stores!

The skin is from SINdecade, it's the Fluke line in smokey makeup. I like the eyes they are smexy. This line is not out YET. It will be so look for that.

The outfit is from This is a fawn. It's called the Francophile and I didn't see it out for sale at her store. BUT, I did see other really cute dresses and I suggest you go check them out! Do eet!

The hair is called Hair 016 from Wot? and its a brand new release costing only 100L. The shoes are also from wot? and they are on sale as well for only 80L. Check out the freebies here too they are super cute. Do eet!

Vita Bella goes all oxymoronic

Looking for a unique cocktail dress? Check out the dress sent over from *Vita Bella*. Specializing in retro/vintage clothing, you can find an array of great designs. They offer lingerie to elegant formal wear and even a few costumes.

Below is a nice dress called Devilishly Devine for 280L that at first glance this wouldn't be a dress I would purchase, but as I'm wearing it longer and longer Im really loving it. It's very unique, I've not seen anything like it in SL. I kind of feel like a jetson in it, I think the bustle gives it a some what futuristic vibe yet still having a retro feel to it, oxymoronic dressware!! It's the kind of dress that you could wear to any occasion I think. Survey says: Well done! I can easily see why this is the designers favorite outfit. It's fun and flirty and I certainly love it.

Hybie gets LDizzy over vintage clothes and lives to tell about it.

I love vintage, I especially love finding small boutiques you rarely hear about that has vintage attire. It's the best. I was super happy when LDizzy sent over a new release of hers and an older release for review. LDizzy is one of those small shops in SL you gotta search out but when you do it's like totally worth it.

One of her new releases is called LDizzy Fionna Dress and cost 300L. It's a vintage floral print dress with black fur around the shoulders, floral print gloves and open front skirt. Very unique pattern and nice side seams. A wonderful vintage formal gown. Makes me want to smoke cigarettes again but with an extra long cigarette holder, something Audrey Hepburn would use. I would suggest wearing a shorter hair style to avoid alpha glitch. You can take this outfit in a different direction by simply wearing the top, pants and skirt for a more casual look, there are so many options with this dress. I thought a hat would look nice with this gown so I put on my Mika feather hat with veil 'demimonde' in black.

The second dress is LDizzy Ruby dress from her last collection costing 300L. Im a big fan of these kinds of dresses. I think the style is timeless. And of course anything with an asian flair is ok in my book. The top comes with two options, open and closed. Wear it with or without the nylons. This is a nice dress, it has a fuzzy feel to it like almost velvety. The side seams are a tad off but the only folks noticing those things are the ones who go looking for them. The back of the dress is nice, showing off the top part of the back letting my rocking tattoo show through. Take this dress even sexier by just wearing the open top and the panties with the stockings. ohh la la.

Dilly Dolls is now making hair! I picked up this lil retro cutie called LooLou yesterday for only 150L. I got the Darks pack which comes with the colors Midnight, Majestic, Charcoal, Onyx and Soil. Also comes with a resizer script.

Introducing .hc&co. skin line

Heather Connolly of .hc&co. has made her first skin line called Hybrid. Fantastical name for a skin line if you ask me. :D

I think she did a great job for her first round of skins. They have an asian pop feel to them...they are very 80's. Colorful eye shadows that look great with all my retro outfits. Three tones are available: Pale, Sunkissed and Tan. I posted only two of the three tones cause damnit that's just a lot of pictures to take. ;P

The skin tones above are: Natural, Blossom, Forest, Iris, Ocean, Sunshine and Wild.

How Vicious is your Sid?

Headed to Emery today to check out some of their new items after they sent out a notecard through fashcon. The notecard caught my eye because there was a shirt that had Sid Vicious on it. If you don't know who that is...google it. I don't have the time or energy to talk about punk rock right now. Anywho, needless to say I purchased a couple of their new releases there. This is a two peice with the shirt in all layers and highwaisted jeans. The top comes in three version but I chose the Sid and Nancy version cause I'm a sucker for romance. I'm digging these jeans hardcore. The shirt is great as well. I might have to go back and get the other two versions.
The outfit above I had some serious high hopes for but the skirt if not made of win unfortunately. It was the other outfit that was in the notecard and it looked fantastic. I couldn't get the prim part of the skirt to work at all. It would leave a big gap in between my legs in certain poses and then when I walked it would bop back and forth coming out the sides of my legs. No bueno. I'm loving the Prince top though and will probably wear it with the super kick ass jeans from the other picture posted. Oh well, we can't always have a fantastical shopping experience all the time. If anyone can make this skirt work, let me know how you did it. I want to love this outfit.

Reasonably Desire This

I was feeling a bit naughty (and I'm sure it's due to listening to the song Bilingual) so I decided it's time to blog about sexy lingerie and burlesque cigarette girls.

Friday I went to a lingerie party where Reasonable Desires was giving away a fantastical freebie. The gift is called Vanessa and it comes with many options like cami top and bottoms, panties with and without garter and bra only. The cami had a couple very slight texture issues at the seams and really only noticiable if you are looking for them. Check out my booty in the 4th pic, it looks fantastic! Wouldn't you agree? I love the lace on the panties, it says look at my butt. This outfit will not be available to the public but they have so many other awesome lingerie outfits to get there.

This awesome outfit is called Cigarette Girl and it's a new release from Reasonable Desires and cost only 175L. You get two tray options, one with cigars and ciggies and another with presents. The trays are actually clickable giving whomever touches it a gift and you can add anything in the tray that you wish to give out! How cute?!?! You get a hos and no hos option with this outfit as well, personally I love them hos. *sorry bad joke* This is just a fantastic costume, I can't say enough wonderful things about it.

Ever wandered the grid looking for geeky/nerdy clothing? Good, I'm glad I'm not alone. Apatia Hammerer has perfected dorkdom with her shop called Pig. Here you can find clothes ranging from polos to unisex-v neck shirts to suspender socks and all at a very reasonable price. This wonderful peice above is the Pig- Cardigan and it comes in so many different colors all with really fun names like "Walter? No no...It's Nancy Now" to "Life is a 1978 video game". You can get a single cardigan for 150L or a fat pack for 2k. If you are a skank like me you can wear it alone and show a little nipple or wear a plain ol' t-shirt underneath. A fairly new release from Pig, this adorable dress is called Pig-Retroesque and it comes in 4 different colors called Erin Blue, Moss, Carnelian and Dark Grey. you can purchase this for 100L each or buy a fat pack for 300L and save yourself 100L. The top above reminds me of bowling and how can you not love bowling!! These tops are called Lost in Mississippi and range in colors from Ketchup/Teal to Salmon/Brick to Mustard/Green and only cost 110L, I didn't see a fat pack for this item :( . This is a unisex item as are most of the things in her store. The prim cuffs and collar come in male and female version. This new release from Pig is called "Ladies like Flowers" and I couldn't agree more. This is such a fun shirt that can be worn with so many different things. I mean, look how f'n cute I look!! This top is super cheap only costing 95L or get a fatpack for 1650L. The fatpacks seem like a lot but seriously you get 20 shirts in them.

Above is a lovely top called Masculine Gingham which comes in 13 different colors costing only 110L a peice or a fatpack for 1200L. It kinda make me feel like Daisy from Dukes of Hazard and that is win!

Hybie goes to Warholic Vampire * Vintage Love and comes out a winner!!!

I love to shop backwards. I type in a keyword and then go to the end of the list. I find the shops with the lowest traffic and hit those first. Several reasons of course, one being I like to support the small business owner and second it's possible not everyone will be walking around in the same outfit I just purchased.

Tonight was no different. I wanted to find some handpainted skins and I wanted to find a skin shop I've never been in before. Oh, I also wanted to find a place that didn't use another skin mods. Dog bless them but enough is enough already.

What did I find? Well I found a shop called Warholic Vampire * Vintage Love Main Store owned by LillyLoo Allen. The shop is just as it states, it has some gothic/vampire attire on one side, vintage/retro clothing on the other and smack dab in the middle it has skins.

I won this outfit called Bloody Lady in the lucky chair. The lucky chair that is set to only 2 mins making your odds of winning go up considerably. The prims on this outfit are modifiable and thats good cause it needed a little adjusting to fit right. You can find this for sale in the store too for only 150L.I kinda felt like Minnie Mouse in this vintage outfit called Vintage Love _Polka Muse aka Mrs. Dean. Oh this cute outfit was so cheap...like 50L cheap!!! Although the prim for the skirt is well, a little hard to work with. It moves all funky, I think it might be attached to the wrong spot or something. Anyways, there are other really cute and totally cheap retro outfits there too.So yea, the reason for the trip...the skin!!! This skin is called Dolly Blush. I like it, it's a nice soft skin, it's not overly realistic looking but it's also not that crayola skin we see so often. If I could change anything about it it would be the harsh shading around the nose and bridge of nose and possibly soften the shading around the lips too. Other than that, if you are looking for a nice cheap skin that isn't hardcore photorealistic...go to Warholic Vampire * Vintage Love and pick out a skin for only 199L. You dont get a choice in different makeups. The skins you see in the picture is the skin you are gonna get, you can't choose different eye shadows and lip color etcetc. But, in their defense, they have a lot of different makeup styles to choose from.

Martinis In The Morning

The first time I went to Retrology back in the summer of 2008 I thought I had found heaven. I was so happy to see hot rods and vintage stores. I went to that sim many times just to walk around and look at all the pretties. As the year passed I made it there less and less until recently I wondered if the sim was still there. To my surprise, it was. Also to my surprise was the traffic was really low. It made me sad.

It was time for an adventure. I stepped out of my beefed up, manly car and took a moment to look at my surroundings.
Not much had changed since the last time I had been there except a few new stores. Because I hadn't been there in so long, I thought I owed it to the sim to hang out for a bit and see what I could get into.

I read a book outside the local music shop.After reading I walked along and had a bit of ice cream. Mmmm, icecream.

Took a break from exploring to watch the passerby's.

After a long day of shopping, exploring and icecream; it was time to head home. I juiced up my vehicle of pure sex and hit the road totally happy with my blast from the past.

Holy crap!!! My first blog!

As with almost anything in my life, I've once again hopped on the short bus that is blogdom too late, but at least I've managed to make it to school. Old School that is!!

I'm getting ahead of myself. A good friend of mine says every time she sees me, I look different. I couldn't agree more. I change my hair, skin and shape as much as a virgin changes her mind about whether or not she will lose her virginity at prom to the guy she has sat next to during 3rd period lunch for the past three years. Moving on.

Lately, I've been on this rockabilly/nerd kick. I break out my splendiferous shapes from SavoirFaireShapes, go with my fantastical glasses from SpexXs MainStore ;
throw on my new gambling tattoo from ALL STYLE TATTOOS and go coocoo for cocoa puffs over one of the older hair styles (/artilleri/mariya*brown w light blonde) from /Artilleri/ .

I love these glasses. I love the price only 50L. I want to make babies with them! I only purchased one pair but I'm totally going back to SpexXs MainStore as soon as my lazy butt gets motivated to purchase more, such a great variety of sUpAsTaR glasses to choose from!! Go there now!!! NOW!!

The Tattoo called "Gambling" is a new one from ALL STYLE TATTOOS and it's only 100L. It's got a tattoo on the back too, but I only showed the front because basically I'm a slacker.

OH! The skin! How can I forget about the skin? I'm not sure how long this 2L skin has been available in the store, but as of yesterday it was still there hidden amongst the skins on the wall. Did I mention it was only 2L? It's called :::L'ORING Sophia O4B, get it here: LAZOLLI (kind of sounds like an Italian dish no?)
